SwissQual, the independent Swiss network quality measurement company, has just recorded its strongest first half year for orders since the company was formed in 2000.    The half year saw an increase over the same period in the previous year of more than 50%.  

Says Peter Beadle, SwissQual’s VP Global Sales:    “This strong performance follows the last quarter of 2007.    We thought that we had put in a good performance then when we recorded an order intake that was more than 50% higher than the previous strongest quarter in company history.   This result shows that that performance was not just a fluke. ”

Says SwissQual CEO, John May, “Since we became independent again, just one year ago, we have been able to focus clearly on the job in hand.   Network quality is our business.   We don’t do anything else.  Operators are starting to realise that we are passionate about network quality and passionate about delivering a quality product to our customers.   They are also starting to realise that SwissQual offers them an “evolutionary” solution that is able to address all of their network’s quality measurement needs from the original roll out through to maturity.   That we can do that without major discontinuity or cost is being seen as increasingly valuable to operators who take a longer, more strategic view of their choice of network quality measurement partner.”

The first half of 2008 has also seen SwissQual announce several new products.   This has included an innovative new solution that allows Wi-Max networks to be meaningfully benchmarked against networks based on other technologies.   The period has also featured the release of an innovative, patented, probe power management feature that is central to the unattended testing of mobile data.
