As a part of our innovative team, you will manage the complete product lifecycle: from initial specification to end-of-life.
You will manage all product strategy activities including market requirements analysis, competitive analysis, product pricing and positioning. You will also manage and support pre-sales activities as well as support and assist marketing communication and product marketing.
The Product Manager is expected to:
• Manage the complete product lifecycle: from the initial business case study through to the end-of-life plan.
• Manage the product requirements process: getting input from customers, prospects, partners and the sales, engineering and support teams. Together with studies of external market trends and the competitive landscape you will use this input to define and specify a cohesive set of deliverables that are both market-driven and can be delivered to a high level of quality by the SwissQual team.
• Produce market requirements specifications, user requirements specifications, use-case documents, functional specifications and related deliverables in order to effectively and efficiently define, in conjunction with the rest of the SwissQual team, the product features.
• Own the product roadmap and the management of customers’ change requests, working closely with the sales and development teams in prioritizing product features and change requests to assure timely releases.
• Cooperate with the operations team in order to assure effective communication and internal execution paths.
• Support and assist the marketing team in preparing and delivering product-specific marketing messages, data sheets, brochures, news letters, white papers and other deliverables.
• Provide in-depth product, competitive analysis and other sales-support deliverables for use in both product strategy and in product positioning.
• Present technical topics and product-related demonstration at events, conferences, trade shows, forums and other events.
Required experience and knowledge
1. Experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
2. Written and verbal communication skills in English
3. Technical background in telecommunications
4. Excellent teamwork skills
5. The position is open to Swiss nationals, valid work permit holders from the EU or EFTA nations as well as to every nationality that can apply for a work/residency permit in Switzerland.
