Diversity Explorer
Designed in 2009 for the next generation of autonomous quality monitoring, Explorer is a state-of-the-art approach to robust, reliable automatic QoS measurement.
With Explorer, SwissQual has developed a compact, autonomous, robust, fully-featured network service test unit for 24/7 network-wide QoS/RF performance assessment that provides better operational reliability. It’s a dedicated hardware solution that’s designed to work hard - all day, every day.
Explorer uses the same devices as subscribers to measure actual QoE/QoS and has fully automated real-time control which requires no in-vehicle manual intervention and permits flexibility to react to changes in tasking.
Like all Diversity family equipment, Explorer has a wide degree of robustness and self-healing built in. Onboard device recovery mechanisms sense sleeping devices and force local reset without intervention. Ignition sensing systems causes the unit to switch on automatically when engine ignition is detected. Intelligent, patent-pending, software repair features can detect problems and fix them locally. And if the unit gets lost or stolen, a heartbeat monitor for lost / stolen units switches on and causes the unit to transmit its current GPS coordinates.
A dedicated backhaul link allows upload without disrupting ongoing measurement tasks, and flexible automatic data transfer mechanisms allows data to be shunted onto central system during off peak periods. The dedicated backhaul link does not use a test device for data upload of test results, traces etc, and the intelligent event-based data reduction feature saves storage space and cuts upload times/cellular costs.

QualiPoc Mobile
Continuous monitoring of network performance helps raise a red flag when service levels go off tune, and 24/7/365 drive test monitoring allows networks to keep careful watch on end-to-end Quality of Service as perceived by subscribers.
When a cost-effective but realistic solution is required, QualiPoc Mobile offers a combination of inexpensive consumer probes matched with numerous additional proprietary hardware and software features to ensure enhanced reliability and minimal intervention.
For example, QualiPoc Mobile uses a special hardware watchdog that provides fault-tolerant phone supervision. Remote tasking via FTP allows remote control of test configurations, remote software updates and upload of results. Service profiles can be intermingled with the onboard 6-slot SIM multiplexer, allowing monitoring of multiple UE profiles on a single test device.
Perfect for situations where cost is a key concern, QualiPoc Mobile allows large fleets to be equipped inexpensively, while still generating high value, high accuracy service data.

QualiPoc Static is ruggedized smart phone-based autonomous static service monitoring system that delivers an active, end-to-end, 24/7/365 test capability for targeted hotspots and key locations.
Often deployed in corporate premises or public locations, QualiPoc Static uses special secure housings with advanced device protection and self-healing mechanisms, allowing operators to use real consumer devices to mimic subscriber behavior without constant manual intervention.
The multi-purpose nature of QualiPoc Static means it can be used for service quality monitoring, roaming tests, enterprise customer service level agreement monitoring and pre-launch validation.
