Press Release 23rd October 2007
SwissQual, the independent Swiss network quality measurement company, has just celebrated its first 100 days back in private ownership with over $7 Million of new orders. These have included “breakthrough” orders into 5 new countries and 6 new customers.
Says John May, SwissQual’s CEO: “Some companies have questioned our ability to prosper as an independent company outside of a large group. As you can see, we have answered those questions by not only showing a strong profitability but also by breaking into new markets. The reasons for this are simple. As an independent company we are completely free to focus on our mission of helping operators to improve the quality and efficiency of their networks. There is none of the time consuming and costly management overhead that is inevitable when you are operating as part of a large group. It also means that we are seen as being impartial and therefore a trustworthy source for test equipment: operators do not want to buy test equipment from the same organisation that is supplying their network infrastructure!”
SwissQual is continuing to invest heavily in research and development and expects to make some major new product announcements in the New Year.
