Spirent Communications announced the sale of the whole of their 100% interest in the business previously known as SwissQual, to a group of independent private investors. This means that SwissQual is once again an independent company, continuing to dedicate itself to providing customers with excellent products and services in the area of mobile network benchmarking and testing.
The SwissQual brand will be reinstated to its premier position in the market, and we will work to ensure that there will be no disruption to our customers through this transition. SwissQual now sells and supports its products in more than 30 countries and supplies all the major operators and mobile service groups in one or more countries. Its products and services spread from automated remote network service monitors through network benchmarking systems and on to Radio Frequency (RF) optimisation tools. These systems enable network operators to assure themselves of the quality of service delivered to their customers.
John May, a mobile industry veteran from the UK, will take on the role of CEO for SwissQual based in Switzerland. He said “SwissQual has built up a phenomenal reputation with its customers for supplying high quality products, that are continuously developed in response to customer feedback. I am looking forward to helping SwissQual drive now towards even greater success. SwissQual will continue to expand its market presence, and develop new capabilities to help mobile operators cope with the ever more complex task of the testing and measurement of service quality of their networks and their newest radio network technologies.”
