If you currently use the SwissQual Seven.Five® system, you will know just how reliable and flexible a tool it is.
However, with the dissolution of the joint venture, between SwissQual and Comarco®, which developed the system, on-going development has been discontinued. We do, of course, continue to support Seven.Five®. However you may well consider that the time has come to migrate to a new system in order to address the ever changing needs of your network.
Migrations can be difficult and costly. They can certainly be stressful. However because so much of your existing Seven.Five® system was developed using SwissQual IPR, we can make the whole process easy.
Moving From Seven.Five® To SwissQual Evolution®
SwissQual Evolution has been designed, based on our experience with Seven.Five, to give you flexibility with a wide range of measurement devices, probes, quality assessment modules and analysis software which can be combined in different ways to meet nearly every type of network quality measurement need. This gives you great benefits of scale and scope and, in the medium to long term, lower costs. It also prepares you for whatever the future may bring.
The Evolution system offers a range of new features that boost reliability, data integrity, ease of use and operational efficiency. It also prepares you for the challenges of LTE and advanced data services.
The good news is that migrating to SwissQual Evolution does not mean a complete change to everything that you do today:
- You can use the same algorithms and test procedures as you do now; long term trending tests will still be valid and you can continue using the same KPI’s, trigger points, customer reports, SQL queries, map plot items and analysis procedures that you do today.
- You can use the same NQDI post-processing software; no re-training of staff will be necessary. If you use third party post-processing systems interfacing to Seven.Five, we probably already have the file interfaces in place to make it simple for you to keep using those as well
- You can continue to use the same back end system Database, landline answering stations, media server, and communication and file management servers (where these are adequate for your needs), to save unnecessary expenditure and keep your existing, and well proven, operational procedures unchanged.
The migration will require a replacement of your current mobile platform Seven.Five probes have a direct replacement in the Diversity series of probes from the SwissQual Evolution system.
However our team will make this process as smooth as possible. When the process is complete, you will have a system that is designed to adapt and evolve easily to meet your changing future needs.
