QualiPoc runs on industry-standard smart phones and supports quality of service (QoS) testing for wireless voice, data, browsing, messaging and video services.
Service providers can obtain instant feedback on KPIs for network and service quality. By using commercially available phones, the cost of QoS testing is reduced as no additional hardware or dedicated engineering mobile devices are needed.
QualiPoc offers several modes of operations to meet the demands of a broad range of network configurations. Automatic mode uses a central Test Manager to remotely control and manage test campaigns as well as the QualiPoc probes.
QualiPoc also operates in semi-automatic mode and provides instant feedback on service quality and performance. In addition, QualiPoc’s “Friendly User” mode equips customers who agree to allow their mobile devices to provide feedback on network quality and service statistics through passive monitoring.
For unattended drive testing and benchmarking, QualiPoc monitors the network while securely mounted in public transportation systems like taxicabs or buses. For cities with heavy traffic and narrow roads, the QualiPoc motorbike solution offers a benchmarking system for up to five networks.
