VQUAD uses a known reference signal to deliver the highest possible accuracy and provides a MOS value together with a range of technical information including block distortion, blurring and jerkiness. It also assesses the related audio quality including the synchronization of the audio and video (lip sync). This makes VQUAD ideal for audio visual applications including video telephony.
VQUAD is transparent to codecs and network technology. It can therefore be deployed for most types of applications. VQUAD incorporates SwissQual's patented LipSynch algorithm to asses the full multimedia experience by verifying the synchronization between the audio and the video streams.
