Speech Quality Testing: NiNA+ |
NiNA+ offers a single ended method for analyzing speech quality. NiNA+ can be used to “listen” to real calls and provide a quality score.
SwissQual was one of the original creators of the ITU-T P.563. The ideas and technology, which SwissQual contributed to this standard, have been further developed in the light of experience. The resulting NINA+ provides MOS scoring and cause analysis together with level and noise evaluation. It also includes a “plausibility check”. This feature checks for speech samples which are not typical examples. In this way readings made of “silence” or non speech sources can be factored out of results. NiNA+ has been optimised for speed. This makes it an ideal choice for mobile phone applications (such as the SwissQual “Friendly User” application.
